about mina

Mina Osako (she/her) has spent her life in three starkly different regions - Chiba, Japan, Honolulu, Hawai'i, and East Coast USA (NY, CT, and MA). Wherever she lives, she connects with people through music by performing, collaborating, and teaching.

Mina's broad musical experience includes working since high school as accompanist for church choirs, school choirs (grade schools to universities), voice classes, musical theatre and opera rehearsals, competitions and auditions.

After completing Master of Music in Piano Performance in 2012, she has been working as a professional music teacher and collaborative pianist. Since 2014, she has served as a Yamaha Music Education System instructor and Curriculum Coordinator, teaching young students and coaching teachers.  In 2021, She co-founded School Street Studio in Lexington, Massachusetts, where she continues to share her passion for music with students of all ages.
